The Great Lock In of 2025
The Great Lock In, Winter Arc, Reset Routine, Healthy Winter Habits, Pre–New Year’s Goal Setting — they all mean the same thing: dedicating a period of time, usually the last quarter of the year, to becoming the best version of yourself.
Think of it like getting a three-month head start in the marathon of becoming the person of your dreams. While everyone else lets go of their goals during the colder months and leans fully into cozy, slower days (which you should also embrace, by the way), you’re locking in, head down and laser-focused, to create the life you’ve always wanted.
One thing that gets misunderstood about feminine energy is the idea that we shouldn’t “work hard” or give maximum effort to get what we want. Sure, our bodies are different from men’s, but that doesn’t mean we can’t lock in, commit, and put in the effort to change our lives. Manifestation + a positive mindset go hand in hand with taking aligned action.
So whether you want to use the next three months to build a body you feel confident in, clean up your eating habits, finally make progress in your business, or step fully into your aligned and abundant self, this is your moment. And if you’re reading this after the Great Lock In has already started? No worries, tou can start any day, at any time!!!

Step 1: Make Your Vision Clear
To get in the mood and have a clear picture of what we want to achieve, we’re going to create a vision board. This will serve as a way to motivate us every. single. day. A vision board will come in handy on those days where self-devotion or self-discipline is low, and you need that extra push of motivation to keep you going.
How you create this vision board is up to you: create a Pinterest board, add pictures to a Canva canvas and use it as your background on your devices or print it out and stick it to your mirror. The key is to make it something you’ll see every single day.
Tip: Don’t just include your “end goals.” Find images that reflect the journey too: workouts, cozy study sessions, meal prep, reading nights. When you romanticize the progress, you’ll fall in love with the process, not just the result.

Step 2: Choose 3 Core Goals
Pick one goal in each category to stick to daily or weekly. Starting small is key so you don’t overwhelm yourself:
Physical
Working out for 30 minutes daily, going for a 10 minute walk every morning, going to bed an hour earlier than normal, waking up 30 minutes earlier than normal, stretch for 10 minutes before bed every day, go to 1 work out class every week.

Emotional
Journal for 5 minutes every morning or evening, read a new book instead of scrolling before bed, call a friend or family member once a week, make low-cost plans with a trusted friend, get out your coloring book and color without judgement, take a weekly bath.

Mental
Meditate for 10 minutes in the am or pm, try deep breathing or EFT tapping, spend 20 minutes a day learning a skill or language, or turn off your phone an hour before bed.
These are a couple of goals that you can choose from but obviously there are many more that you can implement. The idea is that you only pick 1 across each category that you focus on. This way, it doesn’t feel overwhelming and you can build trust within yourself by following through with these goals. When you feel comfortable to add more, please do.
Soooo, 1 physical goal, 1 emotional goal, and 1 mental goal until you feel like you can tackle more goals that upgrade your lifeeee!!
Step 3: Track Everything
Track. Track. Track, babyyyy. It’s important that you see yourself ticking off these goals, building rapport with yourself and building that trust with yourself that you ARE able to following through and the promises you make with yourself. Think of it like this: the more you follow through with your goals and track this progress, the more you train your mind and body that you CAN do this and that you DO deserve this life that you’ve been dreaming of.

Step 4: Reflect Weekly
Progress isn’t just about doing, it’s about checking in with your mind. A weekly reflection helps you notice what’s working and what’s holding you back. It doesn’t have to be fancy, it can be as simple as answering the following questions:
- What went well this week?
- What could have gone better, and why?
- What’s one thing I notice that’s holding me back?
- How am I going to move forward this week?
Journaling on these questions will give you clarity and keep you moving forward even when things feel heavy.

Step 5: Embody Her
It’s embodiment timeeee!!! Embodiment is the secret sauce!! Embodying the person who you want to be is THE number one thing that is going to catapult your entire journey. You want to go throug your day feeling and acting like you already are the best version of yourself, the version you aspire to be.
Ask yourself: How does she show up daily? How does she eat, move, and spend her mornings? What boundaries does she set? How does she romanticize her life? Who does she surround herself with? Tap into those feelings, calm, confident, abundant, at peace, and carry them with you today. Because when you embody her now, you bridge the gap faster.

Conclusion
I want you to have the most beautiful, life-changing Lock In this year. You deserve to give yourself this time. It’s so easy to wait until January 1st, to convince yourself that the “new year” is when everything begins. But time is going to pass anyway, you might as well get your head start now.
Remember: you don’t have to do it all perfectly. Even showing up 60% of the time for the next three months will put you miles ahead of where you’d be if you waited. This season isn’t about punishment, hustle, or rushing. It’s about devotion — showing up for yourself in a way that feels aligned, intentional, and soft.
So let’s lock in together. Light your candle, make your vision board, pick your 3 goals, and take that first step. Your future self is already thanking you.
With love, your soft soul sister.
